LW-PLA Airframe

Lightweight foamed PLA creates a strong, light airframe that's printable on standard 3D printers and repairable in the field with CA glue.

Lightweight

LW-PLA foams during printing, creating a cellular internal structure that's roughly half the weight of standard PLA. This is critical for a sub-3 kg aircraft.

3D Printable

The entire fuselage and aerodynamic surfaces are printed on standard FDM printers with a 220×220 mm bed. No custom molds or tooling required.

Field Repairable

Cracks and damage can be repaired with CA glue and baking soda. In the field, a damaged panel can be patched in minutes — no factory return needed.

Modular Design

The airframe is printed in sections and assembled. Individual panels can be reprinted and replaced without rebuilding the entire aircraft.
